Three Bedroom Townhome
Our “basecamp” is a three bedroom townhome at Surfside on Lake Superior Resort, one of Bluefin Bay’s Family of Resorts. This luxurious and fully furnished 3,000 sq. ft. waterfront townhome offers the ultimate Lake Superior experience. The townhome has three levels with spectacular views of Lake Superior with at least four decks and patios, vaulted pine ceilings accented by clerestory windows, and floor-to-ceiling glass walls. Room Sharing:
• 10% Room Sharing Discount – If you room share on the trip, you will receive a discount in the form of a refund. For further information, please read our Terms & Conditions.
• If you wish to room share with another traveler you know on the trip, please leave their name in the room sharing section during your online Trip Registration. Company of Women Travel will do their best to accommodate your request.
• If you do not wish to room share on the trip, you may select this option during your online Trip Registration. Please note and understand that this may not be possible depending on the specific trip circumstances. Company of Women Travel will do their best to accommodate your request.

Total Trip Pricing
The cost for this 3-night, 4-day Minnesota North Shore Signature Trip is $900.00 per person. For payment due dates and further information, please see the below section Trip Payments Schedule.
Final Sign-Up Date
The final sign-up date for this trip is April 28, 2023 @ 11:59PM (Central Time) – 7 days prior to the first day of the trip. If a participant books their spot on the trip on this date, they must pay 100% of the total trip cost at the time of registration. All forms must be filled out and submitted immediately, including but not limited to the Trip Registration Form and Covid-19 Pre-Screen Form. No refunds will be available if a cancellation is made after registering and paying 100% trip cost on the final sign-up date.

Pricing Does NOT Include:
• Meals
• Transportation – Participants will be responsible for their own transportation to the trip, to and from sights during the trip, and after the trip to best accommodate for if any unforeseen circumstances or changes in the itinerary that may be made.
• Minnesota State Parks Permit, valid for each day of the trip – Purchase yours here.
• Lutsen Mountain Summit Express Aerial Gondola Ticket
• Personal expenses or expenditures
• Travel insurance
• We love our furry friends, however, no pets are allowed.
Trip Payments Schedule
(1) Reservation Payment
A non-refundable Reservation Payment of 50% of the total trip cost is collected during the online reservation process when booking your spot on the trip. You will have the option to pay 100% of the total trip cost as your Registration Payment if you prefer. The Reservation Payment will reserve your spot on our Minnesota North Shore Signature Trip. Your spot will be secured once your Final Payment is made (100% of your trip cost is paid).
(2) Final Payment
The Final Payment (Remaining Balance) of the total trip cost is due no later than 7 days prior to the first day of the trip – April 28, 2023 @ 11:59PM (Central Time). Failure to submit your Final Payment by the due date and time will result in an automatic release from trip attendance and loss of your spot on the trip. You may pay your Final Payment at any time – Instructions are listed below.
Paying your Final Payment
Once your Final Payment (Remaining Balance) Invoice is emailed to you:
1. Click on the “Remaining Balance” or “Pay Remaining Balance” link inside the email to make payment, or
2. Sign-in your Company of Women Travel “My Account” here. On your “My Account” dashboard menu, click on the “Orders” menu tab. Find the trip in your orders list. Click the “Pay” button next to your trip order to make payment.
Cancellation Policy
To learn our full Cancellation Policy, please review our Terms & Conditions before reserving your spot on the trip. Before you are able to complete your online Trip Registration Form, you will be asked to confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to Company of Women Travel’s Terms & Conditions.
Cancellation Fees & Dates
All payments are non-refundable if you cancel after their due date. The payment due dates for the May 2023 Minneosta North Shore Signature Trip are as follows:
• Registration Payment Due Date:
The Registration Payment of 50% of the total trip cost is due at the time you register for the trip. After registering for the trip and submitting your Registration Payment, that 50% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.
• Final Payment Due Date:
April 28, 2023 @ 11:59PM (CT) – 7 days prior to the first day of the trip. If you have paid your Final Payment and are cancelling before its due date, you will be refunded your Final Payment (50% of total trip cost). You will receive it within 15 business days.
Important Trip Details
Covid-19
• Travelers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 3 weeks (21 days) prior to the trip start date.
• Travelers must bring and show proof of vaccination with them on the trip in order to attend the trip.
• Travelers must bring a mask(s) to be worn when required in order to abide by CDC guidelines and any guidelines of establishments on the Trip Itinerary. Be sure to carry a mask at all times.
• When registering online for this trip, travelers will be required to fill out a Covid-19 Waiver of Liability.
• 7 days prior to the first day of the trip, travelers will be required to fill out an online Covid-19 Pre-Screen Waiver. If you answer ‘Yes’ to any of the questions on the pre-screen, you must test negative in order to attend the trip.

Travel Insurance
• Company of Women Travel does not offer travel insurance or travel protection plans. If a traveler feels that travel insurance or a travel protection plan is necessary for themselves, it is their responsibility to purchase the amount and type of insurance to cover any financial loss you may incur.

Traveler Responsibilities
• You alone are responsible for your own belongings at all times.
• You alone are responsible for your own transportation for the entire trip. For further information, please read our Terms & Conditions.
Packing Suggestions & Requirements
Notable items to bring are:
• Minnesota State Parks Permit – Valid for each day of the trip. Purchase yours here.
• Water – Hydrate before you hike, and hydrate after you hike. During your hike, drink 6oz. of water for every mile hiked.
• Snacks – Trail mix, beef jerky, nuts, and other high-energy foods.
• Footwear – Comfortable hiking shoes/boots. Extra pairs of socks.
• Walking Poles – We are all about whatever outdoor accessories help enhance the experience and make it safe for you.
• Hat/Bandana
• Clothing – Long sleeves and articles of clothing you can “layer-up” or “layer-down” with. If getting wet/perspired, materials of silk, wool, or synthetics are best. If not getting wet/perspired, materials like cotton can be added to the mix.
• Raincoat (waterproof)
• Bug Spray
• Swimsuit – For resort pools/whirlpools, or as needed.
• Mask(s) – To be worn when required in order to abide by CDC guidelines and any guidelines of establishments on the Trip Itinerary. Be sure to carry a mask at all times.
• Copy of CDC Covid-19 Vaccination Record – Company of Women Travel requires their travelers to bring and show proof of vaccination with them in order to attend the trip. It is hard to see into the future, but at the time the trip takes place in 2022, some venues may even require proof of vaccination to enter their establishment.
• Health Insurance Card – In case of a medical emergency, it is best to be prepared.
• Dinner Attire – Casual outfit(s) or if you’d like to dress up for dinners. Dinner locations can be viewed on the Trip Itinerary.
• Items you may need to ensure a good night’s rest for adventures the next day
• Money – When budgeting for your trip, please consider: the meals you are responsible for (or want to experience instead of Continental Breakfasts: see the Trip Itinerary for more information), any snacks and drinks you may want to purchase while traveling, your shopping interests, souvenirs, etc. You are responsible for tipping wait-staff or other individuals who provide a service to you at Surfside, restaurants, or at any other public place we obtain a service from. *A suggestion would be to notify your credit card company and bank account of your upcoming travel dates.
